Oh, New Maps!

Treyarch has released a new game setting update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. With it has come two new free maps,

  • Firing Range Night: Black Ops Flashback: US forces gear up for red team/blue team combat exercises in this Guantanamo Bay military base.
  • Seaside Sunset: An anti-government protest in this quaint coastal Spanish town grew out of control and forced a military shutdown.

The Seaside map is a sunset version and the Firing Range is a nighttime version of the map. Both maps are free and on all systems right now.

Also in today’s update came Safeguard to Black Ops 4 and is the Featured game mode in multiplayer.

Another thing added by Treyarch has been Chaos Hardpoint which is a twist on the normal mode with the following rule changes,

  • Hardpoint Zones spawn in random order after the first zones
  • Team score increases with each teammate inside of the active Hardpoint
  • Score limit increased to 1000.
